The forging process reduces or eliminates machining labor through close-tolerances and/or reduction of material requirements, which offers a high-volume, low cost repeatable metal product. Offering strength with the smallest volume of material, forgings provide less surface area to machine resulting in less weight in the final product.
MTG Imports' low cost forging factories in China have the ability to design and manufacture high quality close-tolerance closed die, and upset low cost forgings for many different industries. We utilize many different metals to produce aluminum forgings (aluminum for our non-American clients), brass forgings and steel forgings including various types of alloy combinations. The quality of every forging is maintained at the highest level during all phases of design, production, and delivery. All production is overseen and inspected by PROQC an independent quality control management company working directly with MTG Imports.
