Utilizing hall effect technology, MSC Proximity Switches include on-board current amplifiers to accommodate switching currents up to 2 amps at 12 volts DC.

MSC non-contact proximity switches are typically activated by an external magnet, however they can be configured with integral magnet for activation by ferrous target.
