The DSJ4 Strain Gauge or Load Cell Digitiser Module (4 Channel) compliments the model DSC, the DSJ4 Strain Gauge or Load Cell Digitiser Module (4 Channel) provides a convenient package that makes interconnection and field mounting quick and easy.

Designed for use with strain gauge sensors such as pressure transducers, load cells and torque sensors, the DSC family offers high speed and high precision signal conditioning digitising capabilities. Available output formats include RS485 ASCII, Modbus, CAN, CANopen, CAN J1939 and DeviceNet.

For a single measurement channel, use model DSJ1. For more than one input channel, model DSJ4 provides the ability to connect up to four model DSC's to a common communications bus. Several DSJ1's or DSJ4's can then be connected to the same bus for distributed applications.

NOTE - RS232 versions are not suitable for networked applications such as model DSJ4.

For mounting internal to the sensor, the same electronics is also available in a compact miniature format and is known as the DCell Strain Gauge or Load Cell Embedded Digitiser Module.
