Maple Systems announces the release of new operator interface software for the Ivory Series Panel PCs called WebStudio. This powerful combination offers advanced features such as remote Internet access, datalogging, and connection to a wide variety of PLCs and controllers including the Allen Bradley® ControlLogix® and CompactLogix® PLCs using EtherNet/ IP.

WebStudio supports more than a hundred communications drivers, including support for Allen Bradley, Schneider (Modbus), Siemens, Omron, and GE Fanuc. Ethernet drivers are also available for Allen Bradley, Modbus TCP/IP, GE Fanuc SRTP, Omron FINS UDP, Siemens MPI and many others. With WebStudio and the Ivory Series multiple communications ports, you can connect up to three controllers simultaneously.

WebStudio is designed to develop projects for industrial applications such as automation, process control and supervision that will run on industrial PCs. Applications have a powerful web interface that allows screens to be visualized in a standard web browser such as Windows Internet Explorer® via either the Internet or Intranet. This feature allows a computer to retrieve and send data to the Maple Systems HMI from a remote location.

WebStudio has an extensive set of features that makes it the ideal industrial automation software, including customizable data entry and monitoring objects; tag database with Boolean, integer, real, string and array tags; screens and worksheets that can be merged into other applications; 256 levels of password protected security; logic and scripting; report and recipe builders; event scheduler; foreign language translator and many other easy to use objects and functions. All of this comes in an intuitive software package with familiar Windows commands and toolbars.
