The Metal Seated 10000 Series valve is available in sizes 1/4" through 2" and is best suited for applications with pressures to 3700 psi (255 bar) and temperatures to 1000°F (538°C). The metal seats are identical upstream and downstream and can be exchanged during routine maintenance thereby extending the effective life.

The MS10000 Series is standard with Marwear seats with ANSI Class IV shutoff rating which are comprised of dual rated 316/316L SST base material. The ball is then Plasma coated with a tough Chrome Carbide layer. The seats are coated with a ceramic spray, giving a hardness equivalent to Stellite 6B, but with reduced friction resulting in effective valve operating torques. These seats provide long service life and high temperature capabilities, as well as tight shut-off. The enhanced Marwear Seats with ANSI Class VI shutoff start with the same 316/316L base material but the Chrome Carbide is applied to the ball and seats using a super-sonic HVOF (High Velocity Oxy-Fuel) process. This advanced process produces a surface that can be lapped to a mirror finish allowing for both a low and smooth operating torque.
