Through the use of a magnetic coupling, Max Machinery converts the mechanical rotation of its positive displacement meters into an electrical signal proportional to flow. For high accuracy totalization or the ability to parse very low dosage amounts, the Max Model 294 and 286 transmitters produce up to 1000 pulses per meter rotation. These pulses are spaced to demodulate the meter's rotation and provide highly repeatable and accurate reporting of the fluid flow. When coupled with the Model 213, piston meter, these transmitters will produce an astonishing 1120 pulses/ml! Even with abrupt changes in flow, the system will accurately report the total flow to a tiny fraction of a milliliter.
