Competitive pressure drives design improvements in all areas of hydraulics. Test and verification of enhanced performance must be included in any design review process to track the improvements in flow or functional repeatability. Chasing enhanced performance is a case of diminishing returns and each improvement is usually a smaller increment than the previous improvement. As the steps become smaller, the resolution in the tools that are tracking the changes must also increase.
To keep ahead of the need for finer and finer measurement, Max Machinery has added more pulses per unit volume to all of their flow meters. The Model 294 Series of transmitters produces up to 1000 pulses per revolution, or creates a linearized, stable analog signal based on the same ultra high encoding of the meter's rotation.
Add a Max meter to your arsenal and you will have the ability to verify the flow rate changes that result from each product improvement.
