Silent Brake for Theatre and Stage applications

Silent operation:

The adjustable silent switching damping and special friction linings provide an extremely silent operation of the brakes which makes them ideal for theatre applications.

High operational security:

Available as single brake or double brake. In case of the double brake two brakes working independently of each other guarantee high operational security. It fulfills the requirements acc. to BGVC 1 (VBG 70) DIN 56925 and DIN 56921-11.

Easy assembly:

The compact and enclosed design provides easy handling and assembly. The working air gap is pre-set and does not need any further adjustment.

Monitoring:

Available with release monitoring as operational check at both brakes for highest security of equipment and personnel.

Tacho attachment:

The outer coil housing is prepared for the attachment of a tacho generator.

Maintenance-free:

The brakes are virtually maintenance-free. Maintenance is only necessary for the inspection of the friction linings. However, these friction linings are extremely wear resistant and achieve a long service life.

Correct selection due to large type and size variations:

Seven different sizes cover a brake torque range of 2 x 8 Nm up to 2 x 400 Nm. A sealed design to IP 65 protection is available on request.
