Measurement Specialties introduces the low noise Model 4632 triaxial accelerometer offering both static and dynamic response. The accelerometer is packaged in an anodized aluminum housing with an integral cable and is offered in ranges from ±2g to ±200g. Featuring gas damped MEMS sensing elements, the model 4632 provides a flat frequency response to >1500Hz over an operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.
The underlying MEMS technology and innovative design of the Model 4632 stems from Measurement Specialties, Inc. research and vibration design facilities in Fremont and Aliso Viejo, California.
The Vibration Design Center in Aliso Viejo, CA spearheads Measurement Specialties' global initiative to expand its accelerometer and vibration sensing business with customers in the automotive, medical, military/aerospace and consumer goods industries. This center builds on the company's platform sensing technologies in silicon MEMS, piezoelectric polymer film, piezoelectric ceramic and bonded gage.
About Measurement Specialties:
Measurement Specialties is a global designer and manufacturer of sensors and sensor-based systems which measure pressure/force, position, vibration, temperature, humidity, and fluid properties. Our products are used as embedded devices by original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) or as stand alone sensors for test and measurement to provide critical monitoring, feedback and control input. We are at the heart of many everyday products and provide a vital link to the physical world.
Measurement Specialties is an applications company and we understand that embedded solutions often require customized designs. Our portfolio includes technologies capable of measuring most physical characteristics and allows us to design the right sensor for the application. Physical property, electrical input/output and package configuration are all important considerations when developing products to meet our customers' needs.
