Measurement Specialties provides customization services for OEM and Test & Measurement temperature sensor applications. We manufacture NTC disk, bead and chip thermistors/temperature probes, thermopiles, thermocouples and platinum RTD's for virtually any application. Custom OEM Applications

• Bead thermistors are ideal for use in the Telecom industry, specifically in wave calibration devices.
• Double insulated molded TPE NTC probes are perfect for all commercial and consumer refrigeration and HVAC applications.
• With the high price of fossil fuels, the need for conservation and increased energy efficiency in buildings has never been more compelling. Measurement Specialties has many years of experience providing sensors for building automation, energy control, heating and air-conditioning that allow you to design a system to meet the most stringent efficiency guidelines/regulations.
• Transport refrigeration applications impose considerable stress on components. Vibration, extremes of temperature and exposure to the elements can all have a detrimental effect on the Reliability of electronic components. When failure of the temperature sensor can mean complete loss of valuable perishable cargo, you can trust MEAS who have years of experience manufacturing OEM components to major companies in the automotive truck and off-road industries to deliver the utmost reliability.
• Air Conditioners - TSEV thermopile modules are used to scan the temperature profile of a room or another area of interest. With this data it also possible to count and locate people in a room. TSEV01C is the standard module for this application with just one pixel. For automotive air conditioning, MEAS is currently developing a special version TSEV01A with PWM output.
• Printer/Copier/Laminators - Contactless measurement of toner- or laminator-roll temperatures with a TSEV thermopile module.
• Ovens - TSEM modules with 1, 2, 4 or 8 pixels are measuring temperatures up to 300°C inside of ovens. Modules for higher temperatures up to 1000°C are available on request. The major oven applications are baking- and microwave-ovens. But TSEM is also widely used in industrial ovens.
• Pyrometers - handheld pyrometers and pyrometers integrated in toys, PDAs, or mobile phones make use the small size thermopile module TSEV01P with a limited power consumption.
  

• Motor Management - NiSOT is a SMD packaged Nickel RTD sensor dedicated for automotive application in harsh environments like the engine compartment. It is qualified for the use in hot oil and therefore the ideal temperature sensor for motor management.

Custom Test and Measurement Applications

Thermometer – the 4600 and 4610 instruments are high precision thermometry that are used with 400 series probes and are ideal for laboratory measurements.

Metrology measurements – we make metrology probes that are tubular with super stable sensors & 4-wire cables.
