Dissolved oxygen in a liquid stream can have many negative impacts on processes because it causes corrosion and oxidizes materials, such as piping and boilers. Liqui-Cel® Contactors are an easy-to-operate, modular solution for degassing without using chemicals and without investing in large vacuum towers or outdated forced draft technology. Our membrane contactors are able to simultaneously remove dissolved O2 and CO2 from liquids as well as provide N2 control.
Boiler Feed Water and Corrosion Control Applications
Liqui-Cel® Contactors are used in many plants to deoxygenate boiler feedwater. This extends boiler and piping life by preventing the corrosion of critical parts.
Semiconductor Applications
Dissolved oxygen specifications are typically critical in semiconductor, flat panel/TFT and microelectronics industries ebcause high levels of oxygen can cause lower yields due to defects or process anomolies resulting in significant financial losses.
