Background

For over 20 years and with products ranging from gauges to computers to instruments to accessories, our client has been one of the largest designers and manufacturers of underwater recreation equipment in the world.

Challenge

Small, easy-to-handle device. Our client was in search of a surface-mountable pressure sensor that was easy to handle and could quickly integrate into their designs and manufacturing processes. In addition, they needed a device with a small footprint. Lastly, they required a reliable device—one that could be counted on to perform underwater.

Solution

A new product…..fun under the sea. We needed to design and engineer a new package and manufacture it in volume. Utilizing the experience of our technical staff, we designed, engineered and manufactured a tailored pressure sensor solution to address the specific requirements of this customer. Product was shipping in a few months and our client's customers were safely enjoying the underwater world with a state-of-the-art device.
