MPIF E-learning PM Courses

The Metal Powder Industries Federation offers an e-learning program with online courses on various aspects of powder metallurgy (PM), designed to help companies involved in any phase of the PM industry with their workforce-training requirements. These courses are available to anyone, although employees of MPIF-member companies and members of APMI International can take advantage of significant discounts. At its launch, the program offered three learning modules-introductions to the PM field as a whole, to compacting/presses, and to sintering/furnace design-with each self-paced module running about 30 minutes, including two brief quizzes, at the conclusion of which the learner receives a personalized completion certificate. The development of this program is a long-term project, expected to be implemented in stages over the next several years.
