MDC's Foil-less Heaters are thin, flexible, lightweight self-contained one-piece assemblies. These flexible heating elements are made of stranded carbon fiber, terminated by Methode's own patented Sonicrimp technology, and sealed between layers of flexible insulation material.
These GREEN Foil-less Heaters require no etching of any type of metal and provide precise heating, putting the heat where you need it. Made in the U.S.A., these flat flexible heating elements optimize the transfer of heat more efficiently and over a larger surface area than round Nichrome wire. The result is higher allowable watt densities, faster warm up, and prolonged insulation life. Widths and lengths can be customized to meet OEM order application needs.
