METTLER TOLEDO Thornton 5000TOCi sensor with Intelligent Sensor Management™ (ISM) provides continuous, fast, and reliable monitoring of total organic carbon (TOC) levels in applications such as Water for Injection, reverse osmosis membranes, effectiveness of TOC destruct UV lamps, resin bed performance, organics shedding, and quality of final rinse water. The 5000TOCi sensor uses proven ultraviolet (UV) oxidation with differential conductivity to effectively determine TOC concentrations. The sensor meets pharmaceutical requirements USP <643>, <645> and EP 2.2.44 as well as for semiconductor ultrapure water monitoring.

The Thornton 5000TOCi sensor with M800 multi-parameter transmitter provides a user-friendly and economical analytical package. The M800 transmitter is available in two- or four-channel versions. The two-channel version can accept one or two TOC sensors, or TOC plus one other parameter. The four-channel version can accept up to three parameters in addition to TOC, including conductivity, pH, ORP, dissolved ozone or dissolved oxygen, plus two pulsed flow sensors.

  • The M800 multi-parameter transmitter is used for other parameters measured in both makeup and cycle chemistry, such as pH, ORP, dissolved oxygen, pH calculated from specific and cation conductivity and CO2 calculated from cation conductivity and degassed cation conductivity.
