All optoCONTROL models measures dimension of a target or the position of an edge by using the shadow principle. True real time capability guarantees a consistent data rate with great resolution for dynamic processes.
All micrometers use solid state technology, there are no moving and scanning parts which guarantees maximum performance and great reliability.
Micro Epsilon offers four different models with various ranges, each providing a unique technology advantage to solve a specific application problem
ODC2600:
Range: 40 mm, most precise gauging instrument ( resolution < 200 nano meter ).
This unit is LED based (Class1) and uses a 2300Hz CCD camera with instant shutter. With its telecentric lens system it is insensitive to contamination and allows the most accurate reading for a non contact micrometer. It can profile moving parts with a spatial resolution of 10 microns at a gauging accuracy of 1 micron. A sophisticated fully programmable controller completes the image processing and signal analysis.
ODC2500:
Range: 34 mm, economic measurement instrument for any accurate measurement. This unit is laser based (Class2) solid state CCD camera and offers 1um resolution with a 10 micron accuracy @ 416us real time capability. Transmitter and receiver can be separated in a flexible way. A sophisticated controller completes the image processing and signal analysis.
ODC1202:
Range: 75 and 100 mm, compact unit for large ranges, < 0.2% accuracy. This unit also uses laser light (class 2) and a CCD camera, it does not require a separate controller. With its 100mm light beam it can measure diameter or the edge of large components.
ODC1200/01:
Range: 2 ..30 mm, compact low cost unit, 100,000Hz high speed capability. This unit uses PSD technology and instead of a digital camera measures based on light quantity. It is the smallest and most compact non contact micrometer. For tight spaces we even offer a 90degree scope version.
