Multiplex up to 8 asynchronous RS-232 devices over a composite sync-serial or Ethernet/IP link for immediate or future migration to all-IP networking.
Combine up to eight 115.2 kbps outputs from EIA-232/V.24 devices into a single data-stream with individually configurable speed, flow control, echo and testing.
Options. Patton's Model 3038 IpStatMux™ provides a synchronous-serial V.24 or X.21 or T1/E1 port and dual Ethernet ports. So you can transmit the composite data-stream over the Internet, a private IP network, or a low-cost PPP, Frame Relay, or T1/E1 service.
