The RTSX is designed for use with most hand tools, power tools or rotational measurement applications. The torque sensor connects between the power tool and the joint. Monitors actual torque being applied from the driver to the fastener. There are various models that range from 1 lbf.in to 1,500 lbf.ft. These versatile torque sensors are used in conjunction with a torque analyzer.
Quality is essential, guard it fiercely. Controlling torque is quintessential for companies to ensure their product's quality, safety and reliability isn't compromised. The failure of a three-cent fastener that isn't properly tightened can lead to catastrophic or latent failures. Fasteners that are insufficiently torqued can vibrate loose and excessive torque can strip threaded fasteners.
