Mansfield, Texas, USA – May 12, 2009 – Mouser Electronics, Inc., known for its rapid introduction of the newest products, today announced it is the first to stock the new Molex DDR3 DIMM Sockets. Molex is one of the world's largest global manufacturers of interconnect products.
Stock includes the Molex DDR3 DIMM Socket with a data rate from 800Mbps to 1.6Gbps, double the data bandwidth of the DDR2. With a 1.00 pitch and 240-circuits, the DDR3 provides higher speed for better system performance. The DDR3 also lowers power consumption from 1.8V to 1.5V. The Molex DDR3 accepts the JEDEC defined module MO-269 and complies with JEDEC SO-007 socket specs for 100% industry compatibility. They are housed in high temperature thermoplastic for lead-free processing. To learn more about the Molex DDR3 DIMM Sockets, visit http://www.mouser.com/MolexDDR3/.
