Multi-Contact uses the Multilam contact interface on all its banana plugs to achieve highest current carrying capacity, minimal contact resistance, low self-heating and vibration resistance. Straight or twisted and Multilam contact bands are self-cleaning and provide a constant contact pressure. Multilam plugs are machined from brass, and come either in gold or nickel plating. Multi-Contact stocks plugs in a wide selection of diameters, termination types and designs, but also fabricates many custom plugs and sockets.
