In this extremely competitive global economy, the reductions of scrap costs are essential to the continued growth of any manufacturing company. If the parts manufacturing process is not properly monitored and controlled so that the production of scrap is not maintained at an absolute minimum, the profitability of manufactured parts quickly disappears. The most cost effective and efficient means to approach the part inspection challenge is with inspection technologies that can be fully automated. If these fully automated inspection processes are located immediately after the machining operation that produces the parts, and the inspection process is continually monitored for production related anomalies, the production of scrap can be kept to an absolute minimum. In support of this industry wide requirement, NDT Technologies offers Turn Key inspection systems.
Turn Key Inspection Systems provide the user with an inspection system that is ready to be put into service. These systems are designed and built to meet the customer's specific inspection application, for parts as small as bolts or nuts and as large as "I" beams or engine blocks.
These systems are usually designed around the NDT Technologies Eddy Current based inspection products, but can also include Magnetic Flux Leakage technology, Ultrasonic technology, or vision systems, all operating together to perform a fully automated, seamless inspection process that can perform nondestructive inspections on components of any size or configuration. Further, these systems can be integrated into any manufacturing operation so that there is a minimum "information lag" between when a defect occurs and when it is detected.
The NDT Technologies, fully automated, Turn Key Systems experience base includes the following:
