dynaBLEND™ Liquid Polymer Blending Systems-Image

Fluid Dynamics, Inc., a subsidiary of Neptune™ Chemical Pump Co., Inc., offers the L4-D and L6-D Series models within its dynaBLEND™ family of liquid-polymer blending systems as a lightweight, compact solution to the most difficult applications.

The L4-D and L6-D models are the smallest and lightest (175 lbs/80 kg and 220 lbs/100 kg, respectively) dynaBLEND units and feature a diaphragm pump that also makes them the most economical polymer-blending system that is currently offered by Fluid Dynamics. Both the L4-D and L6-D Series are available in three sizes. The L4-D models, and their water-dilution capacities include:

  • L4-300: 30-300 gph (113-1,136 lph)
  • L4-600: 60-600 gph (227-2,271 lph)
  • L4-1200: 120-1,200 gph (454-4,543 lph)

The L6-D models and water-dilution capacities are:

  • L6-1800: 180-1,800 gph (681-6,814 lph)
  • L6-2400: 240-2,400 gph (909-9,085 lph)
  • L6-3000: 300-3,000 gph (1,136-11,356 lph)

Five diaphragm pump sizes are available-0.4D, 1.0D, 2.5D, 4.5D and 8.0D-with polymer flow-rate ranges from 0.02 to 8.0 gph (0.08 to 30.0 lph). For example, an L4-600-2.5D model will fit polymer-blending applications with 60-600 gph of dilution water and 0.1-2.5 gph of polymer.

All L4-D and L6-D models require a water supply that must be able to provide a maximum flow rate of 35-50 psi (240-345 kPa) greater than the water pressure at the point of use. They have been designed to handle operating pressures to 100 psi (689 kPa) and run on single-phase 115 VAC standard power.
