Product Announcement from New England Small Tube Corporation
No one has more experience brazing hypodermic tubing then New England Small Tube. We braze everything from enclosures and T-joints to complex dispensing manifolds and coaxial sampling probes. The key is to produce strong clean joints with a minimum fillet. Another option is induction brazing. The benefits are localized annealing and repeatability. Inert gas may be flushed through the I.D. of a tube during the brazing operation to reduce oxidation. Furnace brazing is another option, an excellent choice for tube manifolds and preheater tubes. Our experience makes us the experts at silver and nickel brazing, and also tells us when brazing is not the best option. When that's the case we suggest laser welding, an excellent method of bonding two parts made out of the same material. Each of these options has its own strengths and drawbacks, so if you have any questions please contact us and we will be happy to help make the right decision for your particular application.
