New York Blower Type HP Pressure Blowers are designed for applications that can be handled in either induced-draft or forced-draft configurations. Some applications include combustion air, cooling systems, chemical process, glass-blowing, and system exhaust. Wheels can be constructed of steel (high-strength 950X/960X alloy), aluminum alloy, or austentitic-ferritic stainless steel containing 40-50% ferrite in an annealed condition (Alloy 2205). Some construction features include a taper-lock hub for easy wheel removal, precision-balancing for wheels prior to assembly, choice of three inlet configurations, an industrial finish of medium-green enamel, and lifting eyes. Low-leakage construction is also available on some models.
