CAS Data Loggers is pleased to introduce the new HiTemp150-TSK temperature recording kit. With the recent problems with salmonella tainted nut products there has been a demand for temperature monitoring during the processing of these items. Madgetech has responded to this demand by developing the HiTemp150-TS, a submersible thermal enclosure for the HiTemp150 data logger. This durable shield can withstand temperatures up to 250ºC (482ºF), making it ideal for monitoring and recording the high temperatures of blanching and oil roasting nuts. Although this product was created for the nut industry, it is versatile, and can be used in other applications such as autoclave validation, food processing and conveyor oven monitoring. It can also be placed directly in oil to validate deep frying processes.

The HiTemp150-TSK is very easy to set-up and use. It can be connect to a PC through either a serial or USB interface. Software provided with the connection kit allows the data to be downloaded, graphed and exported. It also offers statistics including min, max, std. deviation and mean kinetic temperature.
