CMS Cronus 5-axis High Speed/Precision, Machining Center

The Cronus moving gantry is a 5 axis CNC machining center designed to meet the increasing demands for today's top manufacturers with a staggering array of optional work envelope sizes, working units, work tables, custom fixtures, tool storage, and accessories to choose from. The Cronus machining center offers even higher precision and repeatability than our ever-popular Poseidon class of machine.

High speed machining of Aluminum, Light Alloys, Composite and Advanced Materials for Aerospace, Automotive, Military, Defense and model makers. Covering dry, mist or full flood applications.

-Strong rigid structure -.

The high degree of rigidity is achieved through many engineering enhancements starting with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and including increased thickness of all its steel structures and precision recirculating roller track bearings.

-Accuracy-

The extreme mechanical accuracy of the Cronus is enhanced with double opposing servo drives and scales on the linear axes as well as a direct drive system on the rotary axes.
