The new and improved CL17 Chlorine Analyzer decreases maintenance and adds features for better efficiency and accuracy. The Hach CL17 Chlorine Analyzer is an online instrument that utilizes the USEPA accepted DPD method of analysis for measuring free or total residual chlorine.
The Hach CL17 Analyzer has been recognized as the most dependable and accurate chlorine analyzer on the market since 1986. The new version offers the same reliability with even greater accuracy and flexibility. Drinking water plants use this instrument to control the chlorine feed in the disinfection process, control taste and odor, and monitor the effluent residual chlorine.
For wastewater plants, the CL17 is supplied with a self-cleaning bypass Y-strainer and larger tubing and fittings that accommodate wastewater applications.
A patent-pending seal-free, solid-state mixing system reduces maintenance and improves mixing. The energetic motion of the stir bar self-cleans, virtually eliminating the build-up of solids on the stir bar and in the sample cell. No mechanical parts means less need for servicing. The user-interface has been improved to include menu-driven operations with easy-to-read scrolling messages. The CL17 Analyzer now offers optional compatibility with Hach's AquaTrend® Network Interface.
Each CL17 Chlorine Analyzer is shipped with a one-month supply of reagents, maintenance and installation kits, and a detailed manual.
