Mechanical Torque Limiter

Nexen's newest rotary motion control product is the Mechanical Torque Limiter. The use of a Nexen mechanical torque limiter will isolate the driving from the driven elements within a matter of milliseconds. Mechanical torque limiters feature high performance, zero backlash, and have adjustable features that allow adjustment without the removal from the application.

The Nexen Mechanical Torque Limiter features an innovative design that eliminates machine downtime due to torque overloads.

Nexen offers the mechanical torque limiter in single position re-engagement (standard model), multi-position re-engagement, and full disengagement. They come in size options ranging from 15-2500 with the option of a tapered collar or pilot mount with key. The torque limiters are factory set to the lowest torque within the torque range making it easy to accommodate specific application requirements.
