Problem:
Traditional Vortex Flow Meters are susceptible to common mode noise, leaking sensor diaphragms, o-ring replacement, leaks into sensor cavity and electronics, and repeatability drift.
Solution:
The Vortex Plate has absolutely NO o-rings or seals to fail. There are NO leak paths into the sensor cavity or electronics.
No o-rings, No seals = No problems
All NICE Vortex Flow Meters come equipped with dual sensor technology which filters out unwanted process fluid noise or vibration 200 times greater in amplitude than the vortex signals.
Dual ISO Piezo Sensors = Complete common mode noise cancellation
The Vortex Plate offers dual ISO piezo sensors that NEVER come into contact with the fluid. The Vortex Plate does not have oil filled diaphragms, the sensors are bonded to a stainless steel wall using similar epoxy that NASA uses on their space shuttle tile network for reentry.
Sensors NEVER come into contact with fluid = Sensors Unlimited Lifespan
The Vortex Plate is made from ONE-PIECE of solid stainless steel. The VP element and tail piece are not separate parts pinned and welded together. The geometry of the VP will NEVER change over time giving these meters LIFE-TIME repeatability.
ONE-PIECE Vortex Element = Lifetime Repeatability, Unlimited Velocity Measurement
The Vortex Plate dual ISO Piezo sensors produce higher signal amplitude than most vortex flow meters. This allows the VP to produce a more reliable and a high quality vortex signal.
Greater Signal Amplification = Better Signal Quality
Nice Instrumentation is proud to introduce our Innovative vortex plate flow meter. This meter will NEVER need recalibration. All Vortex Plate flow meters have a hard calibration accuracy of 1000th of an inch tolerance. This allows each Vortex Plate to have an extremely high repeatability as compared to another vortex meters.
For large projects the Vortex Plate is a benefit to having true instrument consistency. All units will produce exactly the same results within the same application parameters!
Hard Calibration Accuracy of 1000th of an inch tolerance = For large projects all VP units will produce the same results for the same operating conditions!
