SPACE-QUALIFIED HARNESSES

North Hills supplies a wide variety of harnesses for space applications. They are available as custom configurations manufactured to comply with the physical dimensions of your platform as well as the severe environment of space.

Full traceability of all materials and soldering to MIL-STD-2000 or NHB5300.4 is provided. Our facilities are certified to ISO 9001:2000, MIL-Q-9858, MIL-STD-45662 and MIL-I-45208. Materials used in the harnesses meet the requirements for use in space and comply with NASA outgassing requirements.

North Hills manufactures its own transformers in accordance with MIL-STD-21038 and isolation resistors meet all of MIL-R-39007.

Coupler designs used on various harnesses have been qualified on many commercial and military rockets and satellites including, but not limited to:
