OFS offers a varied portfolio of Fiber Bragg Grating capabilities. Gratings can be written into the fiber of your choice. Choosing an OFS fiber offers the additional option of write-through coatings, which are useful in the manufacture of grating arrays, multiple gratings written in a single length of fiber. Currently available are: high-temperature, reflector, dispersion compensating, blazed (or apodized) gratings, and fiber arrays. Active research is being conducted through OFS Laboratories on the production of even newer gratings technologies, including: chirped, long-period, multimode, higher order mode, and thermally tunable gratings.
