The EK-05 Regulated Power Kit includes a DC-DC Converter Module (DC123SR) which outputs regulated 3.3V@10A, 5V@10A, 12V@12A,-12V and a Base Battery Controller Module (BB-04SR/FR) that manages the charging and discharging of all of the attached Lithium Ion rechargeable smart battery packs simultaneously.

Charger Module size is PC104, 3.6" x 3.8" or Smaller Size

Kit allows you to power an Embedded Computer and related electronics such as the VIA EPIA MINI-ITX MODULES from battery power. This configuration supports up to four (4) battery packs for a total of about 380 Watt-Hours of power. This is six (6) times the power capacity of an average laptop.

The EK-05 is based on the BB-04SR/FR module and is limited to four batteries maximum. If you need higher current or additional battery pack support you should look at OceanServer's MP-Series or XP-Series products. Contact sales@ocean-server.com for a different kit.

Kit also contains, Power Supply, DC IN Jumper Cable, Serial Port Conversion Cable (DB9 M), Regulated Power Cable (ATX & Disk), and User Software CD for Windows monitoring.

Note: The EK-05 evaluation kit does not include battery packs. Please order 1 to 4 Smart Battery packs to complete the kit. Standard OceanServer Li-Ion Battery Packs are 95 Watt Hours each (6.6 Amp Hours)
