Export, PA — September 24, 2009 — Oerlikon Leybold Vacuum USA (OLV), a leading supplier of advanced vacuum systems for use in chemical processing, has introduced the CHEMROVAC AMR line of dry-running vacuum pumps for use in chemical processing, pharmaceutical production and flameproof applications. Available in five models, CHEMROVAC AMR offers pumping speeds up to 321 cfm and better than 1 torr ultimate vacuum. In addition, OLV is expanding its all brands service capability to now include Unozawa brand dry vacuum pumps.

CHEMROVAC AMR pumps can either be used as single pumps or in combination with mechanical boosters for an increased pumping speed and improved ultimate vacuum. The CHEMROVAC AMR design allows for oil-free gas compression, excellent liquid handling capability and easy customer access to the swept volume for cleaning. Typical applications include Distillation, Drying, Evaporation and Mixing.

Oerlikon Leybold Vacuum USA can now service and repair Unozawa Gumi Iron Works Ltd's multi-stage roots dry pumps and has gained exclusive rights around the world to provide spare parts and service for Unozawa model numbers TRH and TRM Chemical Duty Dry Pumps. Local stocking of spare parts and exchange modules will allow for fast response and will reduce customer downtime to a minimum. The cooperation agreement between the two companies also provides full-service support for the entire installed base of Unozawa pumps through OLV's high quality, worldwide service capabilities.
