Latching connectors on .050" centerlines are easy to use and require no tools for engagement and disengagement. Conforming to the requirements of MIL-DTL-83513, these connectors meet a wide variety of application requirements. The Latch Box is factory installed on the Omnetics Strip Connector Series and can be pre-wired or configured with soldercups or PC tails. MircroLatch strip connectors are also available Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) sizes 2-20 in board mount and SMT versions.

These connectors are used in a wide range of applications. They can be found in many high-end applications in Medical and Mil/Aero Environments. Special Epoxies can also be specified to bring the temperature rating up to 200 degree Celsius making these well suited for many Robotic and Petroleum applications.
