The Conax PG gland is a reusable steel fitting designed to seal a single element or probe against gas or liquids. The PG gland features the Conax-designed "soft sealant" technology that uses the compression of a material within a fixed housing to develop a strong seal. The gland is easily assembled and adjusted in the field. Simply insert the element and torque the cap. The replaceable sealant permits repeated use. For use in pressures from vacuum to 10,000 psi (690 bar) and temperature range from -400º F to +1600º F (-240º C to +870º C). Available with neoprene, viton, Teflon, grafoil or lava sealant.
