PanJits PJQMS05 offers Quad TVS arrays with lower clamping voltage, lower capacitance, and lower leakage current.

Pan Jit has developed a second version of the PJSMS05 in a smaller, QFN 2mmx2mm package, similar in size to the SC70-6L, to provide surge and ESD protection for four data lines.

Designed to protect valuable five volt CMOS circuitry, the PJQMS05 conducts more current than the competition, therefore offering better protection of vital circuitry. The PJQMS05 also features very low capacitance, therefore minimizing insertion loss and enabling faster data transmission. In addition, the PJQMS05 features low leakage current and therefore offers a reduction in signal and overall system power loss. The new product from Pan Jit is expandable for use at other logic voltage levels. The PJSMS05 meets the IEC 61000-4-2 ESD standard as well as the IEC 61000-4-5 surge standard.

The PJQMS05 is similar to the PJSMS05 and comes with the same electrical specification. However, it also comes in a very low profile package called a QFN 2x2, with a max. area of 2mm X 2mm and a max. height of 0.9mm (0.75mm available). Peak power dissipation is 350W with an 8X20µ second surge waveform. It also fully complies with the IEC61000-4-2 standard. Applications include SIM card ports, personal digital assistants (PDA), portable instrumentation and other consumer portable electronic equipment.
