Paratherm MR™ non-toxic fluid is designed for plastics and other processes requiring broad temperature swings. The fluid is effective over a range of 30ºF to 550ºF, making it ideal for tightly controlling heating and cooling in molds, dies, barrels. screws, press platens and laminating and calender rolls.
When your system is called upon to provide lower temperature service than the existing thermal fluid can handle, the Paratherm MR fluid can often be "dropped in" eliminating the need for new, water/glycol-based equipment.
The MR fluid is efficient across the temperature range (it has a 10-centipoise viscosity at 30ºF), is thermally stable and cost effective. The fluid is safe and easy to handle, yet it is durable, providing extended performance under tough, demanding conditions.
The MR fluid is environmentally friendly. Spills may be handled with the same simple procedures used for light lubricating oils. Fluid is non-toxic and odorless. Used fluid can be combined with spent lubricating oils and recycled locally.
