June 8, 2009 Fort Worth, TX – Ultra High Purity fluoropolymer tubing in PFA and PVDF from Parker TexLoc is the clean, flexible alternative to stainless steel. Odorless, taste-less, non-leeching or absorptive, these chemically inert tubes are designed to handle high purity applications where high temperatures and/or corrosive applications cause extractables to outgas from plastics. By selecting an Ultra High Purity PFA grade product, rather than a standard grade, the impurities in the tube are kept to the lowest possible level and the burst strength is increased. In addition, with absorption of water less than 0.03%, Ultra High Purity PFA ensures that the media passing through the tube stays in the tube and doesn't leech into the tubing wall, thus making cleaning and sanitizing quicker.

High purity PFA or PVDF tubing is a lightweight alternative to Stainless that can route around sharp corners without kinking. The tubing will not crack, degrade or discolor. In addition, High Purity PFA operates in temperatures as high as 500°F (260°C) and PVDF up to 250°F (121°C). The low refractive index of High Purity PFA allows operators to visually inspect for contaminants, flow interruptions and leak detection. High Purity PFA can also be reinforced high performance braiding to handle higher pressures.

Custom and standard sized tubes ranging from .004" ID up to 4" ID and are available in TexFluor® Ultra High Purity PFA or PVDF. Tubes can be supplied in smoothbore or in an extra flexible convoluted or corrugated style.
