Wickliffe, Ohio, May 26, 2006 – Parker Hannifin has just introduced its all-brass permanent 25 Series Crimp Fittings designed to work with the company's 271 Air Brake Hose. When used together, the combination is designed specifically for tractor-to-trailer lines, axel chamber lines, and tractor service lines while meeting or exceeding SAE J1402 Type A and DOT FMVSS 106 specifications. Parker's new 25 Series fittings feature all-brass construction for superior corrosion resistance and long service life. Available fitting configurations include: male NPTF (01), female SAE 45° (08), and the popular adapter-style swivel (7B).

A proven performer, Parker's 271 transportation hose features a synthetic rubber inner tube surrounded by one or more layers of fiber braid and a synthetic outer cover. The 271 hose is available in -6 and -8 sizes with an inner diameter of 3/8" and 1/2" respectively. Its operating temperature range is -50°F to +212°F. The hose can be crimped using any of Parker's Parkrimp crimpers.
