Product Announcement from Pearson Electronics, Inc.
A Pearson Current Monitor intended for general use are adjusted at the factory to yield an initial-pulse-amplitude error within specification (either ±1% or +1, -0% depending on model), when terminated in a high impedance load such as an oscilloscope. The equivalent circuit of nearly every Pearson Current Monitor is that of a voltage generator in series with 50 ohms.
Pearson Electronics provides calibration services for its Wide Band Current Monitors that are in compliance with ANSI/NCSL Z540-1 and MIL-STD-45662A, traceable to NIST. Please see our Test Summary and Sample Test Certificate for more information.
Warranty and Repairs:
All Pearson products have a one year warranty from date of purchase. Product may be returned for full credit, or exchanged, provided it has not been damaged by the customer. A restocking fee may apply. Pearson Current Transformers are internally potted and repairs to its electrical circuit resulting from exceeding its safe operating limits are not possible. On occasion, when the CT's connector wire or its connector is damaged, we may be able to replace the connector. Contact a Pearson Electronics representative for more information. We offer touch up painting, or a complete repaint, service for our Current Transformers.
