Permabond pipe sealing products are used in various industries including fire protection, HVAC, and plumbing. Our proprietary formulations contain PTFE which allows easy assembly. They provide an instant seal of 1000psi and final cure strength generally exceeds that of most pipe material. Permabond Pipe Sealants will seal on slightly damaged threads, and even when the direction the pipe must face does not allow the complete seating of the threads. The result is a seal which is inert to hydrocarbons, most acids, solvents, steam and glycol-based products. The Permabond pipesealant line includes UL Listed products. Also available are products with NSF/ANSI 61 certification and BAM approval for oxygen contact to 10Bar (145psi) at up to 60ºC. Disassembly is possible using normal tools.
