Peter Paul Electronics Co., Inc., has developed UL approved, extremely low wattage miniature explosion proof valves for a wide variety of applications, meeting modern demands for economy of space and minimal energy consumption .

The Series 50 ELW (extremely low watt) & ELLW (extremely low low watt) miniature valves, with encapsulated coil, also works as a general purpose valve for pneumatic and hydraulic conditions. The Series 50 ELW operates on 1.8 watts AC & DC (Series 50 ELLW @ 0.5 watts DC), with response time ranging from 4-16 milliseconds. Operating cycles can be intermittent or continuous at speeds up to 600 CPM.

These valves meet the requirements of hazardous locations Class I, Groups A, B, C and D, and Class II, Div. 1, Groups E, F, and G; Div. 2, Groups A, B, C, D, E, F and G. "T" Rating as low as T5. A NEMA 4 rating is standard. Standard valves have a temperature range from -0°F (-18°C) to 140°F (60°C) ambient; 0°F (-18°C) to 150¢ªF (66°C) media. Substantially higher and lower temperatures are optional (consult factory for specifications).
