In 2004 Pfannenberg Inc released the first American designed cooling units into the market, a series of NEMA 3R/4/4X units for outdoor, washdown applications.

- NEMA 4 sealing for both models, stainless steel cover for NEMA 4X unit
- Condensate evaporator tray built-in on both models
Pfannenberg Inc has been locally manufacturing Cooling Units for electronic enclosures since 1997. Currently the Lancaster, NY (Buffalo Area) facility builds more than 80% of the units sold in North America by Pfannenberg Inc, while carrying over a $500,000 worth of inventory. This allows Pfannenberg to provide quick and reliable lead times for all our North American customers.
