The Fastcam 1024 PCI from Photron is the first PC high speed camera system to provide mega pixel resolution (1,024H x 1,024V) at speeds in excess of 500 frames per second (fps). in fact the 1024 provides full mega pixel resolution as fast as 1,000 fps, and can operate at reduced resolution (no binning) at speeds in excess of 100,000 fps!

The incredibly light sensitive CMOS sensor provides 10-bits pixel depth (30 for color systems) and an electronic shutter provides frame rate independent shuttering as fast as two microseconds (2us) for really crisp, blur free images with incredible resolution and speed stopping detail.

Multiple cameras can be easily synchronized through the two pigtail cables provided just as easy as the 1024 PCI can be synchronized with a data acquisition system where analog or digital signal data is recorded in precise synchronization with the high speed imagery.

Photron's Motion Tools software can also be used to add IRIG/GPS capability as well as simple motion analysis and image annotation.

Privided with both C-mount and F-mount adapters, the 1024 PCI is the perfect tool for any lab or research environment where reliability, cost and performance are more important than good looks and high-G capabilities
