PixeLINK's PL-B958 & PL-B959 are rugged industrial vision cameras with excellent image quality. These cameras feature a 2.0 mega pixel CCD sensor (1392 x 1040) at 15 fps. Factory calibrated Digital Pixel Correction and on-board Flat Field Correction (FFC) provides excellent image quality. Careful attention to the color balancing ensures accurate and vivid color reproduction. This camera incorporates the Sony ICX274 progressive scan CCD sensor, which has a 1/1.8" optical format and a 4.4 um pixel pitch. The ILT CCD features high-speed electronic shuttering, low image lag and low smear making the cameras ideally suited to capturing crisp images of fast moving objects. High sensitivity, low dark current and excellent anti-blooming further enhance image quality.

These cameras have a user-selectable 8 and 12-bit output. Access to external triggering and the 2 general-purpose outputs is supplied via the 9-pin micro D connector. Expensive frame grabbers are not required.

PixeLINK believes the integration of imaging products with software should be a quick endeavor. That's why our industry leading Software Developer's Kit (SDK) uses a common API for all of the cameras regardless of the customer's chosen interface. Software code developed for one camera model is easily transferred to other PixeLINK camera models, without the need to recompile, saving you time and money. The SDK also includes the source code for PixeLINK Capture OEM, our free image capture and camera control application, wrappers for National Instruments LabVIEW and full documentation. For those requiring additional software flexibility, Direct Show, DCAM (FireWire only),Halcon and TWAIN are also supported.
