Fairview, PA – Spectrum Advanced Specialty Products introduces a family of planar capacitor arrays that offer numerous advantages over stand-alone chip, discoidal or tubular capacitors. Spectrum's planar capacitor arrays are low profile, compact and feature high voltage and capacitance values, making them ideal for multi-line EMI filtering in circular, D-sub and custom connectors. Planar arrays incorporate a single ceramic element which allows for a shorter assembly time and overcomes the many limitations of discrete filter components.

Spectrum Planar capacitor arrays have a dielectric withstand voltage rating up to 3,000 VDC, capacitance values up to 1 μF and can be produced in a wide range of geometries with multiple capacitance values, feed-through holes and ground holes available. These planars receive 100% electrical and dimensional testing of critical parameters. Custom designs are welcome.

Planar capacitor arrays are used in medical, industrial, communications, military aircraft and engine system applications. Prices range from $2 to $35 depending on configuration and quantities.
