Gilmer, TX--- Plasti-Bond, a leader in the PVC-coated galvanized rigid conduit industry, has introduced new cut-to-length sizes of PVC-coated strut. Up until now, strut has been sold in 10' lengths. However Plasti-Bond learned that users frequently cut struts down to shorter lengths to fit installation needs. When field cutting, the cut ends need to be repaired with touch-up compound...an added cost in both labor and material. Plasti-Bond's new cut-to-length sizes offer the benefits of reduced labor for cutting strut in the field, reduced material costs for touch-up compound, and reduced time in applying touch-up compound. Additionally, users will benefit from improved quality of factory coated ends on cut-to-length sections. Reference numbers for Plasti-Bond cut-to-length struts: P1000 and P1000HS series strut in 12", 18", 24", 30" and 36" sections.
