DC Blocked Protectors

PolyPhaser's DC blocked products are designed to pass RF frequencies and block all DC. The protectors appear as a dc open between surge and protected ports and offer the best protection in the industry.

SX

• Filter technology is the simplest and most effective type of RF protection. These products appear as a short-to-shield on the surge side and an open between ports. They are optimized to pass the desired operating frequencies while attenuating lightning and dc components.

B50

• For most HF, UHF, VHF radios including Base Mobile Radio the B50 series is best suited because of its excellent protection circuit and lower overall operating costs. The IS-B50 is a dc blocked 50 Ohm bulkhead mounted protector and should be connected directly to a bulkhead or a master ground bar.

IS-50

• These are flange mounted version of the dc blocked, 50 Ohm IS-B50 series protectors and should be mounted to a bracket or a flat single point grounding panel. This unit is used primary on HF, UHF, and VHF radios that do not use a DC voltage. VHF/UHF
• Designed for UHF and VHF applications that use up to 750 Watts of RF power in the frequencies of 100 to 700 MHz. The best inline protection available with low let-through voltage and low let-through energy. NEMP
• This is a dc blocking device and will not allow dc to pass to the equipment. Military applications sometimes require that radio equipment be able to withstand sever EMP blasts. In these cases a fast acting device is necessary. We made the NEMP specifically for this purpose. MU/VU PROTECTORS
• VHF and UHF 50O DC blocked combiner protectors. These units have been replaced by the DSXL series units. Please see "SX" under the "Coax" heading for replacement information. GF/IE/LR/MR
• The LR and the GF series are used on GaAs FET receivers and low powered transmitters. The MR is built for microwave systems at 980-3000 MHZ. Please note that the IE series has isolation on the surge side connector, as well as, dc blocking to eliminate any ground loop issues. MT/CT/UT/PT
• PolyPhaser's best narrow band high powered protectors for systems in the 800-980 MHz range for DC blocked applications such as paging and cellular trunking. There is no dc continuity between the center pins of these protects as they utilize a strip line technology and gas tubes. CS/PS
• The CS and PS series units are used when a sampling port is required to monitor system performance on Cellular trunking systems.
