Polymer Technologies, Inc. (PTI) is a leader in custom metal injection molding (MIM) production services and has extensive experience in all aspects of the contract manufacturing of complex, technically challenging components.

PTI offers toll compounding of plastics or MIM feedstock via batch or twin-screw compounders.

PTI can manufacture parts from a wide range of materials and feedstocks resulting in a variety of properties and applications. Different materials are chosen for their engineering characteristics, such as high temperature tolerance, low thermal expansion, high corrosive resistance, resistance to oxidation and even magnetic properties.

Compounding can be used to produce feedstocks tailored to produce parts of different geometry or alloy, as required to the expected application. Compounding can also be used to increase yields and lower production costs.
