4340 Steel is a strong, hardenable steel applicable via MIM for manufacturing a wide variety of components. It is similar to 4140 steel but with nickel added for increased toughness and hardenability.

Depending on property requirements and economics, PTI offers a variety of other steels including Fe-2Ni, 400 Series Stainless and 300 Series Stainless.
